Defend American Jobs, the Republican-aligned affiliate of crypto super PAC Fairshake, is spending $5 million to support U.S. Rep. Barry Moore’s (R-Enterprise) campaign for Alabama’s open U.S. Senate seat, the group announced Tuesday.
The five-week advertising buy will feature a new spot highlighting President Trump’s endorsement of Moore, running on broadcast television, Fox News, and streaming platforms across the state.
“Barry Moore will protect American jobs and champion innovation,” Defend American Jobs said in a statement. “We are proud to stand with Barry Moore, a leader who will fight for economic growth and make America the crypto capital.”
Moore, a member of the House Freedom Caucus currently representing Alabama’s 1st Congressional District, announced his Senate bid in August after U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) opted to run for governor rather than seek re-election.
Trump endorsed Moore in January, calling him a “good friend, fighter, and WINNER.”
The spending marks one of the first major deployments of crypto-industry money into a 2026 federal contest. Moore voted for key crypto-industry priorities during his time in the House, including the GENIUS Act, the landmark stablecoin regulatory framework signed into law last year, and legislation to establish a regulatory framework for digital commodities.
In accepting an endorsement last month from U.S. Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), a leading congressional voice on digital asset policy, Moore said, “Crypto and blockchain technology are about freedom, privacy, and opportunity, values that conservatives should defend.”
Lummis, who founded the Senate Financial Innovation Caucus, called Moore “one of the few members of Congress to personally own crypto assets.”
Moore faces Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson, former Tuberville advisor Morgan Murphy, and businessman Rodney Walker in the Republican primary, set for May 19.
