The Alabama Republican Party is taking its message to a new format, with Chairman Scott Stadthagen set to host state officials, Republican leaders and Alabama legends on a new show called the “Grand Old Podcast.”

Every episode digs into a guest’s personal story – their upbringing, the experiences that shaped them, the values they hold, and the “why” behind their decision to serve. Stadthagen wants Alabamians to see the party’s leaders as husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, Christians and neighbors first – elected officials second.

The first episode drops Wednesday, July 8, with U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) as the inaugural guest. Former U.S. Attorney General and U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions is up next.

Before becoming ALGOP chairman, Stadthagen hosted “In Session: Conversations with Alabama’s Republican Legislators,” an Alabama House Republican Caucus podcast that featured one-on-one conversations with Republican House members.
