BIRMINGHAM — Yellowhammer News CEO Cliff Sims on Friday, Feb. 13 will host the nationally syndicated Laura Ingraham Show, filling in for one of the country’s most well-known conservative talk radio hosts.

Talkers Magazine has estimated Ingraham’s average listening audience to be 5.5 million, making her by far the most-listened-to female talk radio host and one of the most-listened-to overall.

Ingraham worked in the late 1980s as a speechwriter in the Ronald Reagan administration and later clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. After several stints as a cable television host, she launched The Laura Ingraham Show in 2001 and is now heard on several hundred stations around the country. She is also the official guest host of The O’Reilly Factor, Fox’s top-rated cable news program, and a weekly contributor to the show with her “Ingraham Angle” segment.

Sims is the founder and CEO of Yellowhammer Multimedia, the umbrella company for numerous Yellowhammer branded ventures, most notably Yellowhammer News, which averages roughly 2 million unique users per month.

He has become a staple on talk radio in Alabama as a frequent guest and guest host, but Friday will mark the first time he has guest hosted Ingraham’s program.
