Byrne channels Tom Petty in new ad: ‘I won’t back down’

Republican first congressional district candidate Bradley Byrne is out with a new television ad touting his ability to clean up the “mess” in Washington, D.C. and pledging not to back down “when it comes to America’s future.”

The ad can be seen above and the the transcript is below.

One interesting tidbit from the ad is a cameo by State Representative Jim McClendon, R-Springville, that comes about 17 seconds in. McClendon is currently challenging State Senator Jerry Fielding, R-Sylacauga, in the Republican primary in Alabama Senate District 11.

Narrator:

Americans mislead on ObamaCare, another Washington mess. Bradley Byrne will fight to clean it up. The courage to lead when the stakes are high.
