Auburn men’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl frequently shares political opinions on his social media accounts, something he has done much more frequently since the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel and subsequent escalation in Gaza.
This week, he commented on news that Vice President Kamala Harris is refusing to preside over a joint session of Congress when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaks in the United States for the first time since Hamas invaded Israel on October 7.
It's leadership like this that fan the flames of antisemitism and anti Zionism. Can you recall another foreign leader addressing Congress and the VP choosing not to preside? This signal will encourage Israel's enemies and break the hearts of those of us who love Gods holy land! https://t.co/i3Cu2RWWRB

He also responded to a video less than an hour later which commented on the source of the conflict itself.
