Bo Jackson, four-star running back recruit, receives offers from Alabama and Auburn

Of all things you expected to see today, Bo Jackson deciding between Auburn, Alabama, and Ohio State probably wasn’t one of them.

No, not that Bo Jackson.

This Bo Jackson is a rising high school senior from Cleveland, Ohio.

He is a four-star 2025 running back ranked as the No. 3 RB in his class, according to 247Sports.

Alabama offered Jackson a few weeks back at the end of February, an announcement the young running back made on his Twitter:

Then, on Tuesday afternoon, Jackson tweeted that he has officially been offered by the Tigers’ rival and school of his namesake:

Currently, Jackson is crystal-balled to Ohio State by a Buckeye recruiting insider — but the opportunity to become the next Bo Jackson, so to speak, surely must intrigue the younger Jackson.

The Auburn version of Bo Jackson is widely recognized as one of the greatest pure athletes in the history of sports as well as perhaps the most famous Auburn alum of all time.

Rushing for well over 4,000 yards in his Tiger career, Jackson dashed his way to a Heisman trophy in 1985 before becoming a star in both the NFL and MLB.

Famously, or infamously, Jackson’s careers were cut short by injury, but he still had one of the greatest reigns in the history of modern athletics.

The young Bo Jackson certainly has a lot to live up to.
