Comments: where have you been on treyvon martin? every sane person in the country is concerned that a little boy was slain in cold blood and your sitting behind your computer pecking out articles about the alabama legislature when it’s not even in session?
i will say this to you just like i would say it to rush limbaugh, sean hannity, glen beck, laura ingram, mark levin, bill o’reilly, and any other right wing cook. you are a racist good for nothing bigot.
i’ve sat back for long enough and i’m tired of watching you people look the other way when tragedy strikes people who don’t have lilly white skin.
If a black man had shot a white kid for walking through his neighborhood in montgomery you would have devoted a entire week to breaking down the story from every possible angle and called on people to protest.
instead, most of the cooks are blaming an innocent kid. but even worse, you say nothing of this injustice but talk about on twitter how you are “just a guy who says what he thinks ” Ya until it interferes with your agenda. then you clam up like a little [expletive].

I am a teacher with 15 years of experience in the classroom. I wake up each morning at 5 a.m. and scan my lesson plans for the day ahead. I make sure my middle school age son and elementary age daughter are prepared for school, feed them and make sure they make it on the bus.
I then spend the next 8 hours caring for 4 different classes full of teenagers. I push the successful students to keep achieving and spend extra time with the struggling students encouraging them and walking them through remedial work.
I usually stay at the school until 4:30 or 5 before picking up my two kids from a family friend’s house and rushing home. I spend the next two hours bouncing between helping with homework, cleaning the house, and cooking dinner. If I’m lucky, I will get 15 minutes of time with my husband before passing out from exhaustion and waking to start the whole process over the next day.
My simple questions to you are: Why do you hate me? Why do you want me and my friends to lose our jobs? Why don’t you want me nurturing the next generation of Alabamians? Why do you want to take money away from me to launch charter schools that have proven to be nothing but a slush fund for special interests?
You and Mike Hubbard have at least one thing in common. You both have never met a teacher you didn’t hate.

Comments: Teachers at my school have been discussing your articles and forwarding them to each other. I decided I would speak to my UniServ director about your site and he assured us that they are aware of the vitriolic lies you are spreading about teachers in this state and that they have every intention of controlling your propaganda.
If the legislature was actually working for the people, they would pass a law banning hate speech and purposefully libelous content that is posted on blogs.
Just like I tell my students, “sticks and stones…” All you have is words and they will never break us.
