The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) has been named one of the world’s top arenas by Pollstar, a trade magazine for the live music industry.
According to the publication’s 2024 Mid-Year Rankings, Legacy Arena ranks 52nd worldwide in tickets sold and 55th worldwide in gross revenue, while the BJCC Concert Hall ranks 46th worldwide in tickets sold and 70th worldwide in gross revenue.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team in bringing world class entertainment to Birmingham,” said BJCC CEO Tad Snider. “We take pride in our collective efforts to bring top quality entertainment to the market and boost tourism related revenue for the city of Birmingham.”
Per a press release, the BJCC will have hosted 24 of the current top 100 North American tours by the end of 2024, including comedian Nate Bargatze, hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj, country artist Zach Bryan, and rock band Tool.
“We are thrilled to provide our community with such a diverse range of entertainment options and look forward to continuing to bring the best in live music, comedy, and more to Birmingham,” said Snider. “Thank you to all of our concert goers and supporters for helping the BJCC achieve this incredible milestone.”
