A trophy is coming back to Birmingham for the third season in a row.
The Birmingham Stallions claimed the inaugural United Football League (UFL) title Sunday with a 25-0 victory over the San Antonio Brahmas at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.
"It's been a true blessing… This is the best job I've ever had. I love these young men that we are coaching." 🐎❤️

After the Stallions won back-to-back USFL titles, the league merged with the XFL to form the UFL. The championship game featured the USFL conference champions against the XFL conference champions.
Ironically, the Brahmas were the only team to defeat Birmingham this season with an 18-9 victory on May 25.
Birmingham boasted the No. 1 offense in the league heading into the title game but was held scoreless for a large portion of the first half, including three punts and a fumble to begin the game. The first score came with 40 seconds left in the first half on an Adrian Martinez pass to Gary Jennings, followed by a 2-point conversion to put it at 8-0.
While San Antonio possessed the No. 1 defense in the league before the game, it was the Birmingham defense that excelled, effectively dominating the Brahmas throughout all four quarters.
Birmingham scored once again on the opening possession of the second half to take a 16-0 lead and did not look back from there.
It’s safe to say that when it comes to spring football, we have a dynasty in Birmingham.
