Four years running: The Ōnin Group, a Birmingham-based staffing company, has been once again recognized by the Staffing Industry Analyst (SIA) as one of the ‘Best Staffing Firms to Work For in North America.’

This is the fourth consecutive year Ōnin has earned this award.

“Our ability to consistently win this award — one that is so prestigious in the staffing industry — underscores our dedication to creating a culture where everyone feels valued, engaged and supported to do their best work,” said Rosalyn Lawson.

“This dedication continues to pay off. I’ve watched Ōnin continue to innovate in exciting ways that enhance our impact on clients and Teammates.”

The SIA, a leading authority in staffing and workforce solutions, annually recognizes staffing companies that have created exceptional work environments for their employees.

The Best Staffing Firms to Work For award celebrates those firms that are committed to nurturing their talent through practices aimed at enhancing teamwork, efficiency and happiness among their staff. The accolade is awarded to firms that not only meet but exceed expectations, landing in the top 25% of each category within the Best Staffing Firm award rankings.

The Ōnin Group, formerly a privately owned company, announced its shift to employee ownership in 2023. Ōnin has since launched its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

“Our Ōninites are not just employees; they are owners who have a vested interest in the success of our business,” said Jim Weaver, COO of The Ōnin Group. “This ownership mindset fosters a sense of belonging and commitment, translating into a place that is not only great to work, but that is also driven to succeed.”
