U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) believes President Donald Trump has every right to order a military strike against the Iranian regime if a deal cannot be reached.

Friday, Trump admitted frustration with the Middle Eastern country’s unwillingness to make a deal to end its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile program.

“I’m not happy with the fact that they’re not willing to give us what we have to have,” Trump said. “So I’m not thrilled with that. We’ll see what happens, we’re talking later. We’ll have some additional talks today. But, no, I’m not happy with the way they’re going.”

Moore, who is also running for the U.S. Senate, was asked on WVNN’s “The Yaffee Program” recently if he would support the President if he decides to bomb Iran.

“Absolutely,” Moore said. “I think that the President, again, he’s led and Iran has killed, I think, 32,000 of their own citizens, if the President sees the need, and I think it’ll be very strategic if he does it. Obviously he said last night during negotiations, and I think he would prefer a peaceful solution.”

The congressman believes the radical Islamic regime has caused nothing but problems for the region.

“But that regime certainly needs to be removed,” he argued. “We need to go back to what was the Iran of 79 where people, women had rights, people had liberty, and they didn’t just kill the sectors and lock up their they don’t have elections anymore over there, so the President sees the need.”

The President has been sending increased military assets into the Middle East in recent weeks, including the sophisticated USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier.

“I think I trust his judgment on these things. He was right on Madero,” he said. “He was right on taking out the nukes and Iran. He’s been right on every single issue, on foreign policy, and I certainly would trust his judgment on this.”
