U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) thinks members of the former Obama administration should be held accountable for pushing out the narrative that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians to help his Presidential campaign in 2016.
Earlier this month, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents that she said shows the Obama administration fabricated intelligence to create a narrative of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.
President Obama manufactured the intelligence documents, and yet the Deep State still pushed the Russia collusion hoax to take down President Trump.
This was always about retaining power for Obama and his friends. The American people deserve accountability.

Moore discussed the issue Wednesday on WVNN’s “The Yaffee Program.”
“[W]e now know that President Obama and his fingerprints were all over the process,” Moore said. “Once they realized that President Trump had beaten Hillary Clinton, they thought the thing was in the bag, they thought Hillary was going to win, then all of a sudden, all the Intel communities started pushing out this narrative that Trump was nothing more than a Russian asset.”
The congressman argued that this scandal has cause many people to distrust the parts of the U.S. government that is meant to keep the nation safe.
“When the FBI offered Christopher Steele a million dollars to verify anything in the dossier, and the man could not collect the money, that told me then that not only was the White House involved, but the FBI was also involved, the CIA, DNI, all those agencies that we’re supposed to trust to protect American citizens and the integrity of our elections, the things that we count on to make sure that we’re protected from foreign adversaries,” he said. “All of a sudden, that very government complex of Intel and the Justice Department was weaponized against Donald Trump to undo a duly elected official.”
Moore said there needs to be accountability after these revelations because “no one is above the law.”
“Like I said time and time again, what we’ve seen with the Russian collusion and the weaponization of government against Donald Trump and the American people makes Watergate look like jaywalking,” he argued. “This is probably the most egregious crime we’ve seen in recent history, from the Intel agents and from the political party that wanted to undo the will of the American people.”
“It’s staggering, brother,” he added, “and I can’t wait. I can’t wait. Justice must be swift and it must be exacted to the extent of the law. Because, you know, I love the saying that nobody is above the law. I’ve heard that so much from the left and on the Judiciary Committee from the Democrats. Now I think it’s time to say nobody is above the law. What happened? Let’s hold them accountable.”
