The Auburn Men’s Basketball team has finalized a neutral-site game against Ohio State for December 14, 2024, reports On3’s Justin Hokanson.

The game will be held in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena as part of an event called Holiday Hoopsgiving, which will feature concurrent matchups between Florida and Arizona State and Georgia and Grand Canyon.
Auburn and Ohio State have faced off just once before, meeting in the 1999 Sweet Sixteen when Auburn was the South Region’s No. 1 seed. It was there the Buckeyes put an end to one of the greatest seasons in AU history, defeating the Tigers 72-64.
2024 will mark the fifth consecutive year Auburn has participated in Holiday Hoopsgiving. The Tigers have posted a 3-1 all-time record in the event, recording wins over Nebraska, Memphis, and Indiana.
“Playing every year in Atlanta in the premiere college basketball event has been an important part of the development of this program,” said Tigers head coach Bruce Pearl. “We were the first and have been the only SEC school to play every year in this important event for college basketball in Atlanta – home to some of the best high school basketball in America.
