The Auburn Tigers had a massively successful recruiting weekend during their ‘Big Cat Weekend’ where they get some of the most elite prospects in the country together on campus.
The weekend was highlighted by six new commitments, but the one that stood out nationally was Saraland defensive tackle Antonio Coleman.
Coleman, who was initially committed to Alabama before flipping to Auburn, then flipping back to Alabama, has flipped once again and now is committed to Auburn.

On the heels of an impressive recruiting weekend, Alabama commit and four-star, two-way player Derick Smith flipped to Auburn as well. Smith is a four-star athlete from Selma who plays both ways and is rated as the No. 38 overall player in the class.
Over the weekend, Auburn also landed four-star cornerback Blake Woodby out of Maryland, Gulf Shores four-star linebacker JaMichael Garrett, Mobile four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle, and one of the top edge rushers in the 2026 class in Hezekiah Harris out of Huntsville.
Freeze is proving dominant on the recruiting trail right now especially when it comes to in-state talent. If the Tigers can continue to land some of the best high school players from within the state of Alabama, it won’t be long before Freeze has the kind of roster he needs in order to compete in the SEC.
