It was a huge weekend across not just SEC country, but the entire nation, as Super Regional action set the stage for the 2025 Men’s College World Series in Omaha.
The final team is yet to be determined with Duke and Murray State set to face off in a decisive Game 3. But within the SEC, the road to Omaha is already set.
Auburn, hosting a Super Regional for the first time in program history, fell short against red-hot Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers swept the Tigers in two games, ending Auburn’s postseason run.

In terms of the rest of the conference, LSU was able to handle West Virginia for two games in a row in Baton Rouge to advance to their 20th World Series in program history, a mark that has only been achieved seven times. They will be seeking their eighth national title.
