A massive party is about to sweep across the South this summer. A seven-stop tour from the producers of the blockbuster Rock The South festival will make its way to Mobile, Alabama on June 21 and 22 in what will become another annual staple for country music: Rock The Country – a festival for the people.
Jason Aldean. Kid Rock. Miranda Lambert. Hank Williams Jr. Lynyrd Skynyrd. Brantley Gilbert. These are just a few of the legends you can catch during the two-day festival event.
When the tour makes its way to the Yellowhammer State in June, you can expect an all-American musical celebration. That’s by design. Producers of Rock The Country, also behind the successful Morgan Wallen shows in Mobile in 2021, set out to bring a unique thrill to small towns across the country.
Rock The Country’s arrival in Mobile this summer is set to deliver a major economic boost to the South Alabama region. Drawing thousands of music fans from across the nation – attached to the stellar lineup and natural attraction of Mobile – the event itself, local businesses, hotels and restaurants to retailers and vendors, will see an uptick from the foot traffic and spending.
The influx of visitors not only supports jobs in the hospitality and service sectors – but also elevates the profile of Mobile as a premier destination for large-scale events.
“We are passionate about curating an event that combines top-tier musical talent with the charm of small-town America, and we can’t wait for fans to join us on this historic musical journey,” said Nathan Baugh, President, 46 Entertainment.
In Kid Rock’s own words, “Rock The Country is for everyone who makes this country run and loves America.” A headliner and spiritual force on the tour, Kid Rock means it when he says, “Nobody knows how to party like Small Town America!”
Jason Aldean and Kid Rock will headline all seven Rock The Country festivals. When they make it to Alabama in June after stops in Louisiana, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida – they’ll be firing on all cylinders.
One of the Gulf Coast’s premier event venues, The Ground, will host the loaded lineup as the tour lands in Mobile. Tickets went on sale in November, including general admission, elevated reserved – and of course – VIP seating. Along with regular admission, RV and camping options will be available for you to enjoy the entire weekend on site.
“Rock The Country aims to bring the excitement and energy of a large-scale music festival to small towns across the country,” said Shane Quick, President of Touring and Strategic Expansion, LiveCo – a company that puts on 3,000 live shows and events annually.
“With seven big shows in seven different towns, this event promises to be an experience like never before. Fans can expect a weekend filled with incredible performances, great food, and a sense of community that only small towns can offer.”
