With the summer about to roll around, a new release of EA Sports now returned college football video game is upon fans across the country.

One of the most anticipated questions being answered ahead of the July release date is which athlete was going to don the cover — and fans finally got an answer on Tuesday.

Alabama Crimson Tide rising sophomore sensation and Mobile area native Ryan Williams is prominently featured alongside fellow Ohio State rising sophomore star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith on the regular edition of the game:

The deluxe version of the game features Williams and Smith alongside some of the other big name players and coaches in the sports including Caleb Downs, Kirby Smart, and Lane Kiffin:

“As a lifelong fan of EA SPORTS games, being on the cover of College Football 26 is a dream come true,” Williams said in a statement. “It was incredible to see myself in College Football 25 last year, and now to represent Alabama and share this moment with fans who’ve played EA SPORTS games for years is unreal.”

Williams also shared an advertisement for the game to his personal social media pages which include him talking about how much it means to him:

Williams joins Shaun Alexander and Mark Ingram as the only Alabama athletes to be featured on the cover of a college football video game.

The game will release to all on July 10.
