The Alabama Republican Party has hired Madeline Priestley as its new Director of Member Services and Data, naming her to a role that will oversee statewide member support, data systems, and strategic coordination across departments.
According to the party, she is taking on the role left by their longtime data administrator, Rudy Scott, who will retire at the end of the month after years of service to the organization.
Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl said Priestley’s background positions her to most effectively serve the party and its members.
“Madeline brings a rare combination of technical skill, communications expertise, and hands-on project leadership that makes her an exceptional fit for this role,” Wahl said.
“Her experience in data management and member engagement will allow her to support multiple departments simultaneously and keep our operations running at the highest level. Leaders like Madeline help ensure we are building a cohesive, high-performing team ready to deliver results as we continue enhancing the infrastructure of the Alabama Republican Party.”
In her new role, Priestley will help modernize party data systems, assist county organizations, and support communications, events, and strategic initiatives.
Priestley said she looks forward to joining the team and working to strengthen grassroots engagement statewide.
“I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Alabama Republican Party. I’ve always hoped to work somewhere that values collaboration and strives to make a real difference in the lives of Alabama families. I’m looking forward to getting to know our members, supporting the team, and contributing in any way I can to help move our state forward,” she said.
Priestley, a University of Alabama graduate with a degree in public relations and a minor in political science, previously worked as a marketing coordinator for ServisFirst Bank. In that position, she managed multi-regional corporate events, coordinated communications efforts, and contributed to investor relations and marketing strategies.
