WATCH: Alabama fan prank calls into C-SPAN inauguration coverage to take swipe at playoff committee

The 45th and now-47th President of the United States – Donald J. Trump – was inaugurated to the highest office on the planet for the second time on Monday morning, but the historic moment wasn’t the first thing on everybody’s mind.

During their coverage of the inauguration, C-SPAN was taking phone calls from callers both on the Republican and Democrat side in order to voice their opinion on the election, the inauguration, the speech, and much more.

One caller however, who was introduced as ‘Graham from Jersey City, New Jersey’, actually called from the Democratic side of the aisle, had another issue he wanted to discuss after expressing his displeasure with the results of the election:

“I’m a bit disappointed in how the election turned out,” the caller says.

“While I’m disappointed in the American people…I’m a bit more disappointed in the selection committee for not picking Alabama for the College Football Playoff finals. Accepting inferior teams like SMU and Indiana…truly dark times in America.”

While the people of Alabama may disagree on a number of topics including the election and inauguration, Yellowhammer State residents – at least the ones who wear Crimson – can likely all come together on the issue Graham had the courage to bring up on C-SPAN ahead of the CFP national title game on Monday night between Ohio State and Notre Dame.
