Alabama data centers, bears, and infertile cows? Really?

(YHN)

The fight over data centers in Alabama is heating up.

Some concerns deserve serious discussion, including electricity demand, water usage, and local infrastructure.

Others are making headlines for a different reason.

Claims that data centers make cattle infertile or unleash bears into neighborhoods may grab attention, but they need evidence.

If opponents want to slow or stop data centers, the strongest case is built on facts, not fear.

As U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) says more data centers are coming, the debate now shifts to local governments, county commissions, and the Alabama Legislature.

If new rules are coming, they should be based on data, not moral panic.
