Alabama Crimson Tide dominates top player ratings in EA Sports’ College Football 25

Next week’s release of EA Sports’ College Football 25 is among the most anticipated video game releases in history.

As the July 19 release date approaches, EA has been dropping small details of gameplay features, stadium rankings, offense and defense ratings, and now, the top 100 players in terms of overall rating.

The Alabama Crimson Tide has six players on the list of athletes with a 90 overall or better.

The highest-rated player on the team is 5th year safety Malachi Moore, who has been extremely vocal since the retirement of Nick Saban about his love for Alabama and non-desire to enter the transfer portal. Moore is rated as a 92 overall.

Coming in second was a new face in transfer center Parker Brailsford. Brailsford followed Kalen DeBoer from Washington to Alabama after he had one of the best seasons for a center in the country in 2023. He is a 92 overall as well.

Junior guard Tyler Booker, who similarly to Moore, is open about his love for the Tide, is a 91 overall as he looks to be a key factor on what should be one of the best offensive lines in college football in 2024.

Linebacker Deontae Lawson, who was spectacular in 2023 in his first year as a starter, was rated as a 90 overall along with star quarterback Jalen Milroe. Milroe is the No. 5 overall quarterback in the entire game.

All three of Moore, Booker, and Milroe will be representing Alabama at SEC Media Days next week where the topic of the video game is sure to come up.
