The Alabama Crimson Tide, despite falling a bit from their level of dominance in recent years, still has one of the most talented rosters in college football year after year.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer has done a nice job blending talent recruited by his predecessor Nick Saban and bringing in new talent of his own.
The impressiveness of the roster is shown in Senior Bowl invitations, where only the best prospects get invited to the first real scouting event of the NFL draft in Mobile.
Alabama has had five players accept invites so far, the first being wide receiver Germie Bernard. The former Washington transfer came over with DeBoer and established himself as a critical part of the offense, catching 50 passes for 794 yards in 2024 before taking on an even bigger role this year.
Running back Jam Miller, who was in his fourth year in the program in 2025, has been a key piece since 2022. He stepped into a major role during the 2023 season before taking over as the lead back for the last two seasons.
Though injuries have limited him in 2025, Miller had 1,585 career rushing yards by the time the regular season came to a close.
Defensive lineman Tim Keenan III has accepted his invitation as well, after establishing himself over the last three seasons as one of the better interior defenders in college football. At the end of the regular season, he had 92 tackles and 5.5 sacks in his career, as well as a forced fumble this season.
Beyond Keenan III, it was a pair of Alabama linebackers who also accepted their invitations — Justin Jefferson and Deontae Lawson.
Lawson has been a longtime team captain and returned to school after an injury ended his 2024 season, while Jefferson has had to step into a much more prominent role this season.
Both have been key pieces of the defense in 2025, which has kept the team afloat and been one of the best in the country.
These five likely will not be the only Alabama representatives as more weigh their invites, but they form a fantastic group that Tide fans in the Port City can look forward to seeing at the end of January.
