Alabama Basketball Legend Acts in Self-Defense at Son’s Basketball Game

Seven-time NBA champion and Alabama basketball legend Robert Horry was caught fighting off a heckler at one of his son’s basketball games Saturday. In the video obtained by TMZ, the man appears to be taunting Horry as he approaches and caps off the encounter with a shove. Horry then unleashes on the man with a flurry of punches.

Horry told TMZ that he was acting in self-defense, and that the man had verbally abused him at previous games.“The guy was trash talking the whole game. He shoved me. Where I’m from, you protect yourself.”

Horry (46) lead Alabama to three SEC Tournament titles and was a legend in the NBA, winning seven championships with three teams. Despite retiring in 2008, this latest encounter shows that he can still protect himself on and off the court.
