College football season is almost here, and fans across the Yellowhammer State are counting down the final days of a long, football-starved offseason.
With the start of fall training camp just days away for many teams, it won’t be long before they can check off one more box.
On3 compiled a list of dates that training camp is going to begin for every major program and the two biggest teams within the state are going to start right next to each other.
According to the report, the Auburn Tigers are going to be opening their fall camp a week from today on July 29, exactly one month before the Friday night opener at Baylor.
As for the Alabama Crimson Tide, they will open up just one day later on July 30, exactly one month before their home opener on the road against Florida State. July 30 seems to be the most popular date for teams, and will be the first day for Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Tennessee and numerous others.
