U.S. Rep. Dale Strong believes President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office have been a resounding success. The congressman from Huntsville is particularly pleased with the improvements being observed in his home district and throughout all of North Alabama, thanks to the efforts of the new commander-in-chief.
“President Trump hit the ground running and has put America first. In his first 100 days in office, he has delivered real results for the people of North Alabama,” Strong said this week.
“From strengthening national security to fueling job growth and reinvigorating American industry, Trump is taking action to push back against the failed policies of the radical left that weakened America’s economy, values, and institutions.”
“This administration is restoring common sense and putting power back in the hands of the American people.”
Strong praised Trump for locking down the southern border, bringing illegal crossings down by 95%.
“The southern border is one of President Trump’s biggest successes. We didn’t need more laws to secure the border, we needed a new President,” he said. “The American people are safer today because Donald Trump is our president. He wasted no time restarting construction of the border wall and reinstating effective immigration enforcement policies. His decisive action is making North Alabama safer by curbing illegal immigration, stopping drug trafficking, and dismantling dangerous criminal networks.”
In 100 days, @POTUS has:
✔️Secured the border
✔️Cut waste, fraud, and abuse
✔️ Brought back manufacturing and jobs
✔️ Restored common sense— Dale W. Strong (@RepDaleStrong) April 28, 2025
According to Strong, the President is also helping industry in the upper portion of the Yellowhammer State return to full strength.
“North Alabama’s manufacturing sector is seeing renewed energy as the Trump administration rolls back burdensome regulations, lowers taxes, and champions pro-American trade policies. New investments are flowing into local industries—from aerospace to automotive—bringing good-paying jobs back to American workers and rebuilding the supply chains that keep our community strong.”
Trump has secured over $5 trillion in new U.S.-based investments in his first 100 days, per White House officials. The massive infusion of capital is expected to create more than 451,000 new jobs across the country, including in advanced manufacturing.
