Adventure lovers: Experience a weekend to remember at HydroFest

Taking place on June 24 & 25, the annual Guntersville Lake HydroFest offers two days of competitive racing as drivers compete for the Southern Cup title. But HydroFest isn’t just about the race. The weekend’s on-land activities bring together adventure lovers from all over the South.

Party Tents

A highlight this year will be the first ever Rooster Tail Party Tent. With great views of the lake course, partygoers can enjoy the race with games like cornhole and giant beer pong, a DJ, lunch, and non-alcoholic beverages. Tickets are $60 per person and grant access to the lively tent on both days.

In addition to the Rooster Tail Party Tent there is also the Club Level. This $120 point of entry includes access to a large, private tented area for on-the-water viewing at the start/finish line. Along with lunch and nonalcoholic beverages, this top-tier spot offers one-of-a-kind viewing to experience the adrenaline in style.

General Admission

If the exclusive tent parties aren’t your vibe for watching the race, general admission tickets start as low as $15, and all active-duty military with a valid ID can get in for free!

Outside of the party tents and race boats, there is also a kid’s area with water slides, giveaways, and you guessed it… more food!

Pre-Party

Prior to the event itself, on June 22 from 6pm – 9pm, the public is invited to attend the first ever HydroFest Street Party! This event is FREE and will take place at Guntersville’s new City Harbor with boats lined up for viewing and drivers available for meet and greets! Have a night out or fun with the whole family while enjoying food, drinks, music, and more!

The energy surrounding the race makes HydroFest an unforgettable weekend. It’s an action-packed display of talent offers three classes of racing: H1 Unlimited, Grand Prix America, and Pro-lite series. The state-of-the-art hydroplanes race on a 2½-mile oval course and maintain speeds of 130 mph and up to 200 mph on the straightaways.
