ABC of Alabama endorses Caroleene Dobson for Alabama Secretary of State

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama has announced its endorsement of Caroleene Dobson in her bid to become Alabama’s next Secretary of State.

“Caroleene is the kind of young, forward-thinking leader Alabama needs,” said ABC of Alabama Chairman Tim Harrison. “She understands the needs of our industry and is willing to roll up her sleeves to find ways to reduce fees and streamline business services. Our members believe she represents the change we need in Montgomery, and we are proud to endorse her candidacy.”

Following the endorsement, Dobson thanked ABC.

“The Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama does an outstanding job representing its members’ interests at the state and federal levels,” she said. “I am honored to have their endorsement and support.”

“As Secretary of State, I will work to make Alabama the best state in the nation for business incorporation, cut fees for Alabamians, and streamline government services. Having spent my career advising businesses of all sizes, I’m ready to put that experience to work for the people of Alabama.”

According to the group, the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama represents the state’s construction industry, which creates 200,000 jobs and accounts for 5% of the state’s economic output.
