Case Dixson released a new campaign video on Wednesday outlining his vision as a Republican candidate for Alabama’s 6th District, saying the future of his children and community compelled him to step into the race. Dixson is facing Republican incumbent Gary Palmer for the seat. Palmer has been in office since 2015.
Dixson, a husband and father of two young daughters, is a physical therapist assistant and lifelong Alabama conservative. He grew up in Alabaster and Maylene, was homeschooled by his mother, and comes from a military family. He graduated from Hope Christian School in Pelham in 2018 and earned his degree from Jefferson State Community College in 2021. Dixson and his wife have been married for two and a half years and recently welcomed their second daughter.
Explaining his decision to run, Dixson said he felt “no other choice” after the birth of his first daughter, citing her future and the need for new leadership to address pressing national issues.
Among the key priorities highlighted in Dixson’s campaign are:
-
Fiscal Discipline: Curbing reckless spending, addressing the national debt, preserving Social Security and Medicare, and keeping taxpayer dollars at home rather than overseas.
-
Ethics Reform: Supporting congressional term limits, banning stock trading by members, and shutting down misuse of leadership PACs to eliminate what he describes as insider corruption.
-
Breaking Big Pharma’s Grip: Advocating for patient-first healthcare by reducing regulatory barriers, expanding telemedicine and home care, empowering nurse practitioners, and rescheduling cannabis to improve access and respect states’ rights.
-
Families First: Simplifying the tax code and cutting rates to allow families to keep more of what they earn, and removing outdated limits on care-related deductions.
-
Defend Life: Supporting a nationwide abortion ban, framing the cause as protecting rights “endowed by God and the Constitution.”
-
Protecting Liberty: Pledging to oppose federal overreach and defend constitutional principles to safeguard individual freedoms and self-governance.
