Located in historic Mooresville, Alabama, 1818 Farms celebrated its 10-year business anniversary this past week with friends, family and associates that have contributed to the farm’s success over the years.
1818 Farms’ charter mission was to enjoy life the way it used to be, preserving history and honoring tradition by working a zero-waste farm, producing handmade products, and educating the public on the value of sustainability, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of community.
Natasha McCrary, owner and founder of 1818 Farms, stated in a release, “I hope that the success of our brand inspires others to follow their dreams of opening their own business.”
1818’s line is now available in 572 stores in 45 states and online. Its product line includes shea creme, bath soaks, wax sachets, face serum and more.
In 2019, 1818 Farms was named Amazon’s Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year. The company has also had numerous features in publications, including Southern Lady, Real Simple, Cottage Journal and Country Living, according to a press release to announce its new partnership with BloomTV.
BloomTV is an international streaming service and network for all things floral. 1818 was selected to be one of BloomTV’s “experts.”
The streaming service offers educational content and web seminars on gardening and florals.
“I am proud to be a part of this innovative community of creatives and look forward to sharing my floral knowledge with viewers from around the world,” McCrary added. “The reach of the service is 4.5 million and the team at 1818 Farms will be able to offer extensive knowledge as their property is home to over 15,000 flowers.”
