Still No Word On 11-Yr-Old Girl Missing From Dadeville, Alabama

Photos: Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department Facebook Page

As of 11:30 pm Sunday night, there’s still no word on the 11-year-old girl reported missing this morning from Dadeville, AL. The Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department notified the public that they are searching for Victoria Skye Smith this morning. The Sheriff’s Department Facebook post said:

“She was last seen in the Murphy Dam Lake area off of Highway 50, Dadeville in Tallapoosa County around 4:30 am on Sunday morning, July 16, 2017. She may be heading towards Georgia or to Elmore County.”

Victoria is 5’1″, 120 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt, black gym shorts, and flip flops. At that time, she had her hair pulled back in a headband. The first photo on the left is the shirt she was last seen wearing.

On a Facebook page apparently belonging to her parents, this was posted sometime around noon today, the following was also posted today:

Last seen at 5:07 am at the Eagle Gas Station on the corner of [Highway] 49 and [Highway} 50, asking for a ride to Auburn. Was given a ride by a man who said she told him she is 18! He said he left her alone! She doesn’t know anyone in Auburn, so we don’t know what her plan is.

Apparently, she was last seen at the address above, which is not far from Murphy Dam Lake.
