Three people connected to Birmingham Water Works to face charges

Three people connected to the Birmingham Water Works are facing multiple charges regarding state ethics laws.

The Chairman of the Board Sherry Lewis, businessman Jerry Jones and Mt. Vernon Mayor Terry Williams all appeared at the Jefferson County Jail on Wednesday.

The three were booked and released on bond.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall says the Birmingham FBI division helped assist in the investigation.
