What do you think about Roy Moore? Yellowhammer News launches special guest op-ed series leading up to controversial election

Can’t stand how the media is attacking Roy Moore?

Can’t stand how the judge’s advocates are defending him?

Can’t stand how either side is behaving?

Yellowhammer News is offering conservative Alabamians a chance to publish their thoughts on its site from now until the Dec. 12 election through a special guest op-ed series that will offer balance to both sides.

“Good conservatives can disagree about Roy Moore,” said the site’s editor, J. Pepper Bryars. “It doesn’t mean that you condone sexual assault if you support him, and it doesn’t mean you’re a socialist if you don’t. There are good reasons – principled, conservative reasons – why fair-minded Alabamians are still voting for the judge, and also why fair-minded Alabamians have decided that they cannot.”

Bryars said that more voices – Alabama voices – need to be heard.

“Our leaders in Washington won’t shut up, and our leaders in Montgomery won’t speak up,” he said, noting that while there is a great amount of information being spread, there has been very little serious, thoughtful and respectful discussion.

“Yellowhammer will offer conservatives in Alabama – conservatives of all stripes – a forum where their opinions will be treated with respect and serious consideration,” he said.

Submissions are welcome from all citizens – voters, elected leaders, members of the conservative media, and any Alabamian who cares about the future of our political movement.
