After being accused of impersonating a police officer for the second time, Matt Pitt, founder of Birmingham area youth ministry, The Basement, gave a wide-ranging interview to Kalisha Whitman of NBC’s Birmingham affiliate. In the interview, Pitt declared his innocence, flashed his honorary sheriff’s badge, suggested his life was in danger and accused the police of targeting him for political gain… and much, much more.
